The AEE Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized a lecture on "Infrared Thermal Imaging Technology," presented by Eng. Jreis Dayeh, General Manager of Adva Therm.
The lecture covered an introduction to thermal imaging, energy efficiency, safety measures, electrical applications, and energy applications for solar panels and wind turbines.
Eng. Dayeh highlighted the importance of infrared thermal imaging in maintaining photovoltaic solar energy systems and preventing costly operational downtime. He also discussed the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies, showcasing cameras used in the field and sharing practical examples from real-world applications.
The session concluded with Eng. Dayeh answering students' questions on the topic.
