A student delegation from Furtwangen University in Germany, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ing. Sliman Shaikheleid, visited the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the German Jordanian University (GJU) as part of a visit aimed at strengthening academic and cultural exchange between the German and Jordanian sides.
The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ziad Abuelrub, welcomed the delegation, introducing them to the faculty’s academic departments and applied programs, and highlighting its key achievements and advanced laboratories that equip students with the scientific and practical skills required in the labor market.
The visit included a field tour of the Biomedical Engineering Department laboratories, where the delegation learned about the modern equipment and technologies used in practical training. It also featured an introductory tour of GJU’s facilities to explore its distinguished educational environment and its unique model that integrates theoretical and practical learning following the German approach to higher education.
