At a time when global transformations are accelerating and the concepts of work, productivity, and knowledge are rapidly evolving, the interest of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect him, in Jordanian youth stands out as one of the most important pillars for building the future and creating hope. For years, His Royal Highness has consistently emphasized through various meetings and initiatives that young people are the true force capable of leading Jordan toward a new era of progress, innovation, and global readiness.
His Royal Highness has translated this vision into action through his continuous support for youth empowerment, enhancing their skills, involving them in public engagement and decision-making, and directly listening to their ideas, aspirations, and challenges. One of the most prominent initiatives reflecting this advanced national vision is the “Tawasul Forum” , organized and supervised by the Crown Prince Foundation, serving as a dialogue platform that brings together young people, senior officials, decision-makers, and experts in one place through open and responsible discussions addressing the issues shaping the future.
The vision led by Prince Al Hussein toward youth is based on empowerment and building a confident, productive generation capable of adapting to and shaping the future—a generation that believes Jordan can become a regional hub for creativity, technology, innovation, and productivity.
The forum provides young people with a space to express their ambitions, present their initiatives, and discuss the challenges they face with realism and transparency, thereby strengthening the culture of participation, reinforcing trust, and affirming that youth are essential partners in shaping and creating the future.
This year’s forum placed significant focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on productivity and the labor market, as well as on sectors in which Jordan can excel regionally and globally, such as programming, financial technology (FinTech), game development, and the digital economy. It also highlighted the importance of developing innovative technological solutions to national challenges in areas such as water, energy, the circular economy, waste management, and environmental sustainability.
The importance of these discussions comes at a time when the world is witnessing a growing need for collective thinking, enhancing national competencies, and preparing for an era driven by artificial intelligence, robotics, smart technologies, and rapid digital transformation. Today, global competition no longer depends solely on traditional resources; it is increasingly centered on knowledge, innovation, and the ability to transform challenges into economic and developmental opportunities.
This context inspires optimism, as Jordan possesses a truly invaluable asset represented by the minds of its creative youth, who have demonstrated their ability to innovate, produce, and compete globally whenever they are provided with the right environment, trust, and opportunity. Today, it has become possible to develop smart applications, digital platforms, and advanced technological solutions that contribute to addressing everyday challenges through Jordanian ideas capable of transforming visions into tangible achievements.
Under this approach, the true investment becomes an investment in people, in the potential of youth, and in building an education, training, and skills ecosystem that keeps pace with the future—because nations that succeed in preparing their youth are the nations that secure their place and role in the world to come.
