The activities of the Summer Club STEAME Club 2024 commenced at the Consultation and Training Center at the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized jointly with the Innovation Association for Creative Development.
This year, the club targets both teachers and students, offering a diverse range of workshops aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
The student track includes workshops on scientific thinking, encouraging exploration of scientific methods and data analysis. It also features programs integrating science, arts, and mathematics through problem-solving in practical projects. Additionally, there is an electronics workshop where students learn electronics fundamentals through hands-on applications, along with innovative robotics projects. The track culminates in competition activities and a showcase of student projects highlighting their creativity and achievements.
The teacher track includes workshops on scientific puzzles to stimulate inquiry and find solutions. There is also a STEAME experiment design workshop aimed at providing teachers with tools to develop interactive educational experiences. Events also include a STEAME-themed scientific excursion offering teachers a practical and enjoyable experience, along with workshops on derivations and scientific challenges to help teachers enhance their skills and deliver innovative educational experiences.
