A student delegation from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the German Jordanian University (GJU) visited Philips in Germany, organized by the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) and the Deanship of Innovation Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) at GJU, in collaboration with Universität Stuttgart, and funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
This visit was part of the workshop titled "Bridging Borders: The German Perspective on Biomedical Engineering" aimed at providing an in-depth understanding of Germany's educational and industrial systems, particularly in the field of biomedical engineering.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to closely explore modern medical technologies and the latest developments shaping the healthcare industry. They also interacted with specialists in the field, gaining valuable insights into global trends in biomedical innovation.
The visit aimed to provide students with practical experience to help them face challenges in the sector and improve patient care, while also offering them a chance to explore the real-world applications of what they have learned in the classroom.
