
The German Jordanian University (GJU) and Magdeburg - Stendal University of Applied Sciences in Germany, GJU’s strategic partner, have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening academic, administrative, and cultural collaboration between the two institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by the Chairman of GJU’s Board of Trustees, Engineer Othman Bdeir, and board members.
The agreement was signed by GJU’s President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and Magdeburg-Stendal University’s President, Prof. Manuela Schwartz.
The agreement seeks to expand cooperation between the two institutions through student and faculty exchanges, the development of joint academic programs, the implementation of collaborative research projects, and the organization of joint conferences and cultural programs.
Additionally, it stipulates academic and social support for students participating in the exchange programs, ensuring the recognition of courses studied at the host university, facilitating student participation in cultural programs, and promoting staff exchanges.
The agreement also includes the possibility of developing joint study programs in the future, further enhancing academic collaboration between the two universities.
This partnership represents a significant step toward strengthening academic and cultural exchange between Jordan and Germany, opening new opportunities for students and researchers from both institutions.
