The halls of the German Jordanian University (GJU) were transformed into a vibrant hub of science and discovery as participants in the "Kinder Uni (Little Professor)" Program, organized by the University through the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), embarked on an enriching educational journey featuring scientific experiments, interactive workshops, and creative activities. The program brought together distinguished academics and national institutions in an inspiring learning environment that fostered scientific curiosity, nurtured creativity, and connected knowledge with hands-on application.
The program featured the distinguished participation of Dr. Nasser Al-Natsheh from Technische Universität Braunschweig (TU Braunschweig), who has been contributing to the program for the fifth consecutive year. He delivered a series of innovative scientific demonstrations and hands-on experiments that immersed children in a world of exploration and discovery through an engaging and accessible approach. His activities helped simplify scientific concepts, develop analytical and critical thinking skills, and spark participants' curiosity about science and innovation, highlighting the importance of linking theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
The Zaha Cultural Center also enriched the program through a diverse range of interactive workshops and activities, including an introduction to artificial intelligence applications, a career guidance workshop designed to help children discover their interests and abilities from an early age, and a 3D Printing and Design Workshop, which introduced participants to the latest technologies in innovation and digital manufacturing. The Center also presented an interactive Magic Show and the "Green Wheels" Initiative, creating an enjoyable and engaging atmosphere while reinforcing learning through practical application.
In the same context, the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation contributed a variety of educational activities that combined learning with entertainment. These included an engaging storytelling session, along with scientific demonstrations and interactive experiments that enabled children to explore scientific phenomena in a simple and enjoyable way. The activities helped develop observation, inference, and critical thinking skills while fostering a lasting passion for learning and discovery.
