The lecture was held at the hospital’s Education and Training Center and was attended by the hospital’s executive management, department heads, and a number of healthcare professionals. It explored leadership styles in healthcare organizations, with a particular focus on Transformational Leadership, as well as institutional performance measurement through the Balanced Scorecard methodology and its applications in improving the quality of healthcare services.
During the event, the hospital’s management, represented by Dr. Hiba Al-Saudi, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Mohammad Kamleh, Deputy General Manager for Outpatient Clinics and Medical Centers, together with several department and division directors, presented the hospital’s experience in implementing administrative leadership practices and initiatives aimed at enhancing institutional performance.
The event concluded with an open discussion that addressed both the theoretical and practical aspects of the lecture, highlighting the real-world challenges faced by administrative leaders in healthcare institutions and exploring effective approaches to addressing them.
This lecture is part of the School of Nursing’s ongoing efforts to expand its partnerships with the healthcare sector and strengthen the role of its faculty members in transferring academic knowledge to professional practice settings.
