The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, met with the university’s faculty members ahead of the start of the new academic year's first semester.

During the meeting, Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized that the university has achieved remarkable milestones in recent years, strengthening its academic standing and enhancing its reputation both locally and regionally. He noted that these achievements were the outcome of collaborative efforts and strong synergy among the university’s diverse staff and departments.

Through a presentation, Prof. Al-Halhouli highlighted the major achievements of the past four years, which included the expansion of academic programs, the opening of the Innovation Pak (TRIP), the advancement of applied scientific research, an increase in student enrollment, in addition to launching infrastructure development projects and improving student services, among other institutional developments.

He noted that the upcoming phase will witness the continued implementation of new, high-impact projects that will further strengthen the university’s position and meet the aspirations of both students and academic and administrative staff. He reaffirmed the university’s determination to solidify its status as a leading educational and research environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President expressed his sincere appreciation for the significant efforts exerted by the faculty members, commending their vital contributions to enhancing the quality of education. He urged them to maintain their dedication and spirit of teamwork, emphasizing the university administration’s commitment to fostering a stimulating academic environment that promotes excellence and innovation.
