The President of GJU, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, met with the Business School (BS) as part of a series of communication meetings held with the university’s faculties. The meeting reflects the university’s commitment to fostering direct dialogue with academic and administrative staff members and promoting a collaborative work environment based on the exchange of ideas to enhance academic and institutional performance.
During the meeting, Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized the vital role of BS in preparing qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with economic transformations and labor market demands. He noted that the university continues to develop its academic programs and strengthen the environment of innovation and entrepreneurship in line with its vision of excellence and competitiveness at both the local and international levels.
He also reviewed the university’s key projects and initiatives currently being implemented, particularly in the areas of digital transformation, applied scientific research, and expanding partnerships with the public and private sectors, thereby creating broader opportunities for students and faculty members.
Prof. Al-Halhouli also listened to a presentation delivered by the Dean of BS, Dr.Bassam Maali, highlighting the School’s major achievements and future plans. These plans focus on updating study plans, strengthening international accreditations, developing graduate programs, and expanding academic and research collaboration with international universities and institutions.
The meeting featured an interactive discussion addressing several academic and administrative issues, during which the university president stressed the importance of continuing to work in a spirit of teamwork to further strengthen the position of GJU and achieve its strategic goals in education, research, and innovation.
