The President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, accompanied by the German Ambassador to Amman, Dr. Bertram von Moltke, visited Yarmouk University, where they were received by the University President, Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi. The visit aims to enhance academic cooperation between the two institutions and expand partnerships with German universities and educational institutions.

The visit coincided with the inauguration of the training program for the "Voices of Palestinian Exiles – VOPE" project, implemented through an international partnership that includes Yarmouk University, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Jordanian University, the University of Applied Sciences in Germany, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in Qatar, Erbil Polytechnic University and Raparin University in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as well as the Modern University for Business and Science in Lebanon.

During the visit, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli and the German Ambassador toured several facilities at Yarmouk University, including the Jordanian Heritage Museum, the Coin Hall at the Faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology, and the Faculties of Science, Pharmacy, and Fine Arts, where they explored the university’s advanced academic capabilities and infrastructure.

Both sides emphasized the importance of the visit in supporting joint research projects, enhancing academic and student exchange, and developing educational programs that serve students while strengthening the position of Jordanian universities within the regional and international higher education landscap
