As part of strengthening community and sports partnerships, the President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, visited Hisban Sports Club to discuss avenues of cooperation between the two parties in sports, education, and community service.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized the university’s commitment to building strong ties with national institutions in ways that support and empower youth, enhance their skills, and promote their active engagement. He highlighted the importance of integrating the academic and sports sectors to help shape well-rounded individuals who combine academic excellence with physical fitness and team spirit.
For his part, the Club President, Mr. Yassin Al-Awadah, expressed the club’s appreciation for the visit, affirming their readiness to develop joint programs that include training, organizing sports events, and launching community initiatives targeting youth and university students.
This visit comes within the framework of GJU’s ongoing efforts—through the Directorate of Support Services and the Community Service & Development Division—to expand engagement with the local community and reinforce its developmental role as a leading educational institution contributing to various sectors, especially youth and sports.
