The President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Alaa Al-Deen Al-Halhouli met with the students of the Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment at Jabal Amman Campus, in the presence of the Vice President, Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi, and the Dean of the School, Dr. Maram Al-Taweel.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Halhouli stressed the uniqueness of the University and the distinction of its programs as a pioneering applied university in the fields of applied education, leadership, innovation and scientific research similar to the pattern of applied German universities. Dr. Al-Halhouli pointed out the importance of the German dimension at the University through teaching the German language to all students, cultural exchange programs for students and faculty members, in addition to the various partnerships with German universities, factories and industrial companies, which receive university students during their fourth academic year.
Dr. Al-Halhouli encouraged the students to spend their time by being attentive to their studies and engaging in the various activities of the University offered by the Deanship of Student Affairs. On the other hand, Dr. Al-Halhouli met, during his visit to the campus in Jabal Amman, with the Assistant to the President and Director of the Consultation and Training Center Mr. Abdul Hakim Arabiyyat and the administrative staff, and listened to their observations to improve the work and the performance in these units. A Session of the Deans' Council was also held at Jabal Amman Campus.
