The President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, congratulated the university team that secured second place in the local round of NASA's Space Applications Challenge 2024 and advanced to the global stage.

During his meeting with the team members, Prof. Al-Halhouli praised their excellence and creativity, expressing pride in their achievement, which reflects the students' capabilities and elevates the university's name in international forums. He also listened to their suggestions and feedback regarding the support and facilities provided by the university, emphasizing its commitment to offering an inspiring environment that encourages students' creativity and participation in global competitions.

For his part, the University President’s Advisor for Campus Life, Prof. Ala Khalifeh, affirmed the university's commitment to providing all forms of logistical, technical, and financial support, ensuring the facilitation of student participation and enhancing their chances of success in such international competitions.

The winning team included the students: Karmel Al-Qawasmeh, Layan Darwish, Lynn Qabbani, and Mohannad Khader, who participated in the "Space Science Visualization" challenge, a competition aimed at designing innovative solutions to facilitate access to complex space data and experiments using virtual visualization tools.
