The German Jordanian University inaugurated the GJU Open House, which aims at providing information to new students and their families about the university, in addition to its updated and innovative academic programs targeting the local and German markets in particular. It also seeks to inform them about the registration process, the German Year, and the Dual Studies programs.

The ceremony's events included the opening of the GJU Open House, the signing of an agreement with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) regarding the hosted programs in Hydrogen Technology Engineering and Social Work, and the launch of the first lecture in the university's modern program series. This program will host a number of distinguished individuals to discuss important social and educational topics.

GJU president Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, pointed out the importance of assisting high schools’ graduates in choosing the right university and specialization that aligns with their aspirations, as they represent the hope of the present and the future and are the focus of the Hashemite leadership. He emphasized that the university is an educational and enlightening center for excellence, innovation, and community service.

Prof. Thafer Alsaraireh, the head of the Higher Education Accreditation Commission, emphasized the commission's role in the accreditation and development of academic programs both locally and regionally, praising the achievements of the German Jordanian University and its programs, which attract young people and connect theoretical aspects with practical applications.

The president of THWS, Prof. Robert Gerber, spoke about the university's hosted programs at the GJU campus and their importance in preparing ambitious young people for work in Germany. He emphasized the German market's need for the competencies that will be developed in cooperation with the German Jordanian University.

At the end of the ceremony, two documentary films were shown about the hosted programs and the German Jordanian University, and the attendees were invited to the GJU Open House.
