His Excellency Mr. Mazen Al-Faraya, Minister of Interior, recently visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) to learn about the university's latest programs and initiatives. His visit included an overview of the university’s innovative projects aimed at benefiting the nation, society, and refugees, as well as its role in promoting entrepreneurship and supporting entrepreneurial students.
During the visit, University President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, accompanied by the Governor of the Capital, Mr. Yasser Al-Adwan, and Vice President Prof. Malek Alsharairi, presented the university's vision and strategy. The focus is on evolving into a leading applied international institution that fosters entrepreneurship and innovation while serving as a cultural bridge between Jordan and Germany.
Prof. Al-Halhouli highlighted recent developments, including the introduction of new specializations and the enhancement of existing academic programs to align with local and regional market demands, particularly those of the German market.
Minister Al-Faraya was also updated on GJU's efforts to attract students both from Jordan and globally. Additionally, he was informed about the "EDU-SYRIA" project, which provides scholarships for refugees and Jordanian youth in affected areas.
