The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Institute of Public Administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing their partnership in various administrative training programs, artificial intelligence technology, and digital transformation.

The university president, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, stated that the university welcomes this partnership with the institute, as it serves the goals of both entities. He highlighted that the German Jordanian University is distinguished for fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and academic excellence. Moreover, it is a unique institution known for its applied training, experiential education, and professional excellence tailored to market and industry needs.

On her part, the Director General of the Institute, Siham Al-Khawaldeh, emphasized that the institute views partnerships with national institutions as a strategic objective in alignment with the vision for administrative modernization. She added that such collaborations aim to enhance the efficiency of public sector employees and build both functional and institutional capacities, with the German Jordanian University being one of the key institutions bringing mutual benefits to both sides.

The MoU includes the preparation, design, and development of training packages and programs in various fields such as public administration, information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. It also involves providing qualified and specialized trainers to deliver these training programs and utilizing the facilities and resources available at both the institute and the university, including training halls and equipment.

Additionally, the MoU outlines the possibility of identifying programs for design, development, and training, as well as collaborating on proposals for business and program development to present to donors and international organizations. It also includes cooperation in organizing conferences, workshops, and seminars.
