The German Jordanian University (GJU)  has inaugurated the new expansion of its campus in Jabal Amman, which includes the historical Sabbagh family house adjacent to the university campus, now being used as a center for consultations and training.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, expressed the university family's pride in this expansion, which coincides with the Kingdom's Independence Day celebrations, the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein's accession to the throne, the awarding of the First-Class Order of Independence to the university, and the German Week.
He explained that the new building will be a strategic site for the university. In addition to housing the consultations and training center, it will feature halls for innovation, creativity, and start-up projects to support the university's aim to be an innovative and sustainable institution. The building will also provide modern training halls for student graduation projects, especially for postgraduate studies.
He emphasized the university's commitment to continuously developing its infrastructure and enhancing its educational facilities in line with His Majesty the King's vision for achieving progress and prosperity for the Kingdom. This expansion represents an important step towards achieving further academic and scientific accomplishments that contribute to raising the standard of higher education in Jordan.
He praised the efforts of all the colleagues who worked on the project, highlighting their sense of responsibility, strong will, and teamwork, which contributed to its successful realization and transformation into reality.
