The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, the Vice-President, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, and GJU Schools’ Deans welcomed the President of the Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA), Engineer Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi, the Vice President, Engineer Fawzi Musad, and accompanying delegation.

Prof. Al-Halhouli valued the Association's initiative to visit the university to discuss ways of cooperation to define joint projects, pointing out that the university is working on developing programs in partnership with German authorities to allocate the market needs them in Jordan and Germany.

Prof. Al-Halhouli added that the university is ready to cooperate with the Association through GJU's connections and partnerships with the German universities and the industrial sector.

Eng. Al-Zoubi said that the meeting comes within several communicative encounters for different universities in the Kingdom to strengthen cooperation frameworks in various fields, indicating that there is a participatory relationship and clear overlap between the Association and GJU that must be institutionalized and framed according to a clear action plan to serve the interests of all parties.

At the meeting, both sides reviewed joint projects and agreements. They discussed a previous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that stated the Research and Creativity Fund training program that encourages GJU professors and freshly graduated engineers to submit research and pioneer projects that focus on employing them in entrepreneurial productivity businesses that will grow in the future within the framework of business acceleration and work on attracting pioneering and productive engineers for business.

The meeting concluded with the necessity of framing all the articles discussed within the MoU by forming a joint committee to implement its items.
