The German Jordanian University (GJU) recently hosted the inaugural ceremony of an international training course for coaches and referees, organized by the International Kickboxing Federation (WAKO) in collaboration with the Jordan Kickboxing Federation. The event was sponsored by GJU Vice President Prof. Malek Alsharairi and attended by Mr. Raad Haroun, President of the Jordanian Federation, Mr. Romeo Desa, Vice President of the International Federation, as well as various international coaches, referees, and delegates from several Arab nations.
In his address, Prof. Alsharairi expressed pride in hosting this significant sporting event and emphasized the university's commitment to supporting international sports initiatives, which foster cultural exchange among nations.
The course, supervised by WAKO and featuring a selection of internationally accredited trainers, will run for three days and include lectures and training sessions on the latest advancements in kickboxing coaching and officiating.
