The German Jordanian University (GJU) Tunisian graduate, Lobna Jlidi, who earned her Master’s degree in German as a Foreign Language, was honored during a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Jordan Tourism Board to recognize the top foreign graduates of Jordanian universities for the academic year 2024–2025.
The university was represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), through Ms. Aseel Al-Matar, Head of the Student Support and Foreign Students Section, at the ceremony held under the patronage of H.E. Professor held under the patronage of H.E. Professor Azmi Mahafthah, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and attended by university and academic representatives, tourism officials, ambassadors, cultural attachés, and counselors from Arab embassies in Amman, as well as presidents of public and private Jordanian universities, deans of student affairs, registrars, and officials responsible for foreign student affairs.
This recognition reflects the Ministry’s commitment to providing foreign students with a full educational experience and continuous support at all levels, ensuring that their journey in Jordan is both enriching and distinguished. It also highlights Jordan’s pioneering role in promoting values of moderation, strengthening cultural exchange, and building bridges of understanding among nations.
