Mr. Alexander Radwan, Head of the Parliamentary Group for Arab-speaking Countries and Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the German Bundestag, visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) as part of an official visit aimed at learning about the University’s academic journey and educational programs, and at reviewing its role in strengthening Jordanian–German relations in the fields of higher education and scientific research.

During the visit, Mr. Radwan met with the President of GJU, Prof. Dr. Prof. Ala'aldeen Al- Halhouli, and the Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Dr.  Ralf Rosskopf, where they discussed prospects for expanding cooperation with German academic institutions, reviewed the University’s key academic programs, and explored its efforts in supporting student exchange and advancing applied education.

The discussions also emphasized the importance of further developing academic and research partnerships and expanding joint programs with German universities, in a way that enhances students’ educational experience and supports applied scientific research.

As part of the visit, Mr. Radwan toured the Research, Technology and Innovation Complex, where he was briefed on advanced laboratories and research projects carried out by students and researchers. He expressed his admiration for the high level of facilities and the research environment, which reflect the University’s strong focus on innovation and linking education to labor market needs.

At the conclusion of the visit, Mr. Radwan affirmed that the German Jordanian University represents a leading model for international academic cooperation and serves as an effective scientific and cultural bridge between Jordan and Germany. He also praised the quality of its academic programs, the diversity of its student community, and the breadth of its international partnerships.
