In the context of the ongoing exchange activities between the German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Duale Hochschule Baden Württemberg (DHBW) Mosbach Campus Bad Mergentheim, Prof. Siegismund visited GJU accompanied by a group of 8 Industrial Engineering students and Ms. Helga Wiese. The visit took place under the umbrella of the BWS plus project “Autumn-Summer-School Sustainability – A3S”.

The aim of the visit was to deepen bilateral cooperation, foster cultural exchange, and explore sustainability topics from both German and Jordanian perspectives. The group was warmly welcomed by the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS), and their visit included a campus tour, meetings with faculty members, and an official reception with the Vice President for International Affairs.

One of the highlights of the week was an interactive workshop organized jointly by GJU faculty, SATS, and the GJU AI-Club. This session brought together students from both institutions to collaboratively discuss sustainability-related topics in campus life and daily routines. The workshop included team-based group discussions, idea sharing, and summary presentations, creating a platform for insightful dialogue and intercultural learning. The event also included ice-breaking activities to encourage informal exchange and build personal connections between participants.

This visit was an inspiring example of how academic mobility and intercultural exchange can contribute to mutual understanding and cooperation on global challenges like sustainability.
