The School of Nursing (SN) at German Jordanian University (GJU) recently welcomed Dr. Susanne Wilke from the Department of Nursing at Kempten University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Her visit, part of the Erasmus+ program, aimed to promote academic exchange and collaboration between the two institutions.
During her time at GJU, Dr. Wilke met with academic and administrative staff, attended several nursing lectures, and toured both on-campus and off-campus educational and training facilities, including clinical training sites affiliated with SN. She also delivered an introductory lecture on the nursing program at Kempten University of Applied Sciences, targeted at students who are expected to study in Germany later this year.
The visit also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between GJU and Kempten University of Applied Sciences, designed to enhance academic cooperation and offer exceptional educational and training opportunities for nursing students.
This visit coincides with the preparations of the first cohort of nursing students at GJU to begin their academic year in Germany next September.
