Students from the German Jordanian University (GJU) achieved a remarkable milestone at the Database Hero Competition organized by AlHussein Technical University (HTU), showcasing exceptional skills in database management and teamwork, and highlighting their academic and innovative excellence.
GJU was represented by four dedicated teams, alongside a joint GJU–HTU team, competing against 14 teams from HTU. The competition concluded with the joint team securing 1st place, while the remaining winning positions were claimed by HTU teams.
Certificates and trophies were presented to the winners by Prof. Dhiah el Diehn I. Abou-Tair and Dr. Qutaiba Al-Baluwi, Dean of the School of Computing and Informatics at HTU, in recognition of their outstanding skills and creativity.
The next round of the competition is expected to be hosted at GJU in Spring 2026, providing another opportunity for students to demonstrate their technical and innovative talents.
