The German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by its Consultation and Training Center, has signed a cooperation agreement with New Era College in Australia, aiming to strengthen collaboration in the fields of professional training, specialized consultancy, and skills development. This initiative seeks to build the capacities of youth and professionals in Jordan and the region.
The agreement was signed by GJU President, Prof. Alaaldeen Al-Halhouli, and Dr. Khaled Hammad, Founder and Executive Director of Business Development at New Era College, in the presence of representatives from both parties.
The agreement aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise in training and consultancy, and to implement high-quality joint training programs in various technical and professional fields, including cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, elderly care, early childhood education, leadership, innovation, and the development of linguistic and technical skills—according to the latest global standards and practices.
Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation in designing and delivering training courses and workshops in Jordan and abroad, offering specialized programs for students and employees, organizing joint scientific conferences and seminars, exchanging experts and trainers, and developing professional training materials. The agreement also stipulates the formation of joint committees to ensure quality and follow up on the implementation of training activities.
This collaboration comes as part of GJU’s and New Era College’s efforts to expand their international partnership network, enhance opportunities for lifelong learning, and align higher education outcomes with labor market needs—supporting GJU’s mission of academic excellence and openness to global experiences.
