The German Jordanian University (GJU) has secured second place among Jordan’s public universities in the National Integrity Index for 2024/2025—an achievement that adds to its rich record of excellence and leadership, reaffirming its commitment to the values of integrity, transparency, and good governance.

University President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, received the Excellence Shield during a ceremony held today under the patronage of the Prime Minister, organized by the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission to announce the results of the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Index.

This achievement reflects the distinguished standing the university has reached among public higher education institutions in the Kingdom, and its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of justice, accountability, institutional responsibility, and to entrench the principles of integrity across all academic and administrative practices.

In his remarks on the occasion, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of the University, emphasized that this distinction reflects the university’s firm commitment to institutional excellence, noting that the accomplishment embodies its adherence to transparency and good governance principles.

Al-Halhouli stated: "We are proud of this achievement, which reinforces the position of GJU as a leading academic institution in integrity and excellence. We will continue working to promote these values in ways that enhance institutional performance and serve the nation."

This recognition aligns with the university’s vision and mission to serve as a model of integrity and excellence both nationally and regionally, and further strengthens its position in the broader National Performance Indicators, which assess institutional efficiency in governance, integrity, and quality of performance.
