The German Jordanian University (GJU), through the Department of Applied Humanities at the School of Applied Humanities and Social Sciences (SAHSS), organized a German-language storytelling and creative writing event for a group of third-grade students from Oxford Schools, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gordon Mitchell and in collaboration with Utopia Jordan for Publishing & Distribution.

The event aimed to promote German language learning among young learners through interactive educational approaches combining storytelling, drawing, and finger puppets, enabling students to express their ideas and develop their imagination and creativity in German.

Third-year students from SAHSS facilitated the activities as part of the “learning by doing” approach, which provides them with a practical opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and develop their teaching skills, while contributing to the promotion of German language learning among younger generations.

The event was organized as part of the project “Empowering Learners Through German Language Education,” funded by the German Embassy in Jordan and managed by Prof. Dr. Haytham Thawbih.
