The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, welcomed the President of the University of Carthage in Tunisia, Prof. Nadia Al- Mazougi, and Prof. Roman Obermaisser from the German University of Siegen, and discussed ways of cooperation with the academic and research fields, as well as the exchange of students and faculty members.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Halhouli presented GJU's establishment, academic programs, achievements, and mission to be a leading applied international university in the field of scientific research, leadership, and community service, indicating GJU's aspiration to build strategic partnerships with industrial and educational institutions in Germany and the Arab world.

In addition, several issues of common interest were discussed, especially cooperation in scientific research and strengthening partnerships in attracting external funding for scientific research projects, in the presence of the Director of the Syrian-Jordanian Education Project, Dr. Dhiah Abou-Tair, and the Director of the International Project Office, Eng. Rasha Al-Hmoud.

It is noteworthy that the visit of Dr. Al- Mazougi and Dr. Obermeyers to the University comes on the sideline of their participation in the Dissemination Conference of Erasmus+ Project MS@CPS: International Master of Computer Science on Cyber-Physical Systems.
