The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, discussed with the Director General of the Special Communications Commission, Brigadier Eng. Mohammad Al-Daradkeh, and the Director of Planning at the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, Brigadier Eng. Shadi Al-Khashashneh, ways to enhance scientific and research cooperation in the fields of telecommunications and artificial intelligence.
The meeting addressed opportunities for developing joint research projects, exchanging expertise in advanced telecommunications and artificial intelligence, and leveraging the academic and research capabilities of GJU to contribute to the development of innovative technological solutions that serve national sectors.
Prof. Al-Halhouli praised the role of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army in supporting development and modernization efforts, highlighting its commitment to utilizing emerging technologies and fostering innovation. He emphasized GJU’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships with the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army and harnessing its scientific and research capabilities to support digital transformation and advance future technologies, contributing to the development of a knowledge-based economy.
For their part, Brigadier Eng. Mohammad Al-Daradkeh and Brigadier Eng. Shadi Al-Khashashneh emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with national universities and benefiting from scientific research and academic expertise in advancing telecommunications and artificial intelligence. They highlighted the role of such collaboration in supporting applied research projects, exchanging knowledge and expertise, and developing technology-driven solutions aligned with national priorities.
