The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and the Vice-President, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, participated in the strategic dialogue program for heads of public and private Jordanian universities at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College (RJNDC) under the title (The Future of Jordanian Universities and Scientific Research). The session was held in the presence of the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Wajih Owais, the Chairman of Higher Education Accreditation Commission and the Director of Military Education and Culture.
The program comes as one of the RJNDC parallel academic programs that aim to establish an organized connection with the public and private universities to address current, emerging, and future Jordanian national security issues and issues related to strategic planning, state management, and national crises.
The program seeks to strengthen and consolidate the national culture, enhance the role of the Jordanian Armed Forces, activate the staff of the military missions located in universities, and develop the educational outputs of graduates of Jordanian universities. In addition to providing the community with qualified competencies, activating the vital role of higher education institutions in achieving Jordanian national security to achieve sustainable development.
