Dr. Fadwa Dababneh, Dean of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship at the German Jordanian University (GJU), and student Ban Tarawneh represented the university at the Ecosystems 2030 Global Summit, held in A Coruña, Spain.

The event brought together a distinguished group of global leaders and experts in technology and innovation from around the world.

 

The summit aimed to explore the future of technological ecosystems driven by exponential technologies. Its sessions covered a wide range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Autonomous Systems, Financial Technology (FinTech), Medical Technology (MedTech), and Robotics, in addition to specialized sessions on leadership and innovation featuring speakers from world-renowned organizations such as Google, Mastercard, NASA, and Hollywood.

 

Dr. Dababneh emphasized that participating in this global event represented a valuable opportunity to stay updated on the latest global trends in technology, and to build bridges of collaboration with leading research institutions and companies, thereby further strengthening the university’s position in research and innovation.

 

The university also expressed its pride in student Ban Tarawneh, whose participation came as a result of winning the GJU Best Student Achiever Award, reflecting the excellence and global presence of GJU’s students in international forums.

 

This participation comes as part of the efforts of TRIP – the Technology Research and Innovation Park at GJU, to enhance its global standing, keep pace with rapid developments in AI, robotics, and technological leadership, and establish strategic partnerships that contribute to the advancement of the university’s innovation ecosystem.
