The German Jordanian University (GJU) participated in the 19th edition of EDUGATE 2026 – The International Universities Fair for Egypt and the Middle East, held in Cairo from July 28–30, 2026, and continued its participation in Alexandria, alongside a wide range of local and international universities and higher education institutions.
The University's participation aimed to strengthen its regional presence and showcase its distinctive educational model, which is built on partnerships with German universities and an applied education approach that integrates academic knowledge with practical experience, preparing graduates to meet the demands of both local and international labor markets.
Representing GJU at the exhibition were Mr. Abdulrahman Lafi from the Admissions and Registration Department and GJU alumnus Mr. Hamza Tuffaha, who provided prospective students, parents, and visitors with comprehensive information about the University's academic programs, admission and registration requirements, student life, and the international opportunities available to GJU students.
The University's booth also highlighted the German Year, which enables students to study and undertake practical training at partner universities and institutions in Germany, as well as the Dual Studies program, which integrates academic learning with hands-on training through partnerships with leading industrial companies and organizations.
Visitors were introduced to GJU's diverse academic programs, its extensive network of partnerships with German universities and institutions, and its commitment to preparing graduates with the knowledge, skills, and international exposure needed to excel in an increasingly competitive global job market. The booth also showcased the University's multicultural learning environment, which combines academic excellence with intercultural engagement.
Through its participation, GJU reaffirmed its commitment to engaging directly with prospective students in the Arab Republic of Egypt and across the Arab region, introducing them to the educational opportunities it offers as a leading model of German-standard applied higher education.
The participation forms part of GJU's ongoing efforts to attract talented students from across the region and further strengthen its position as a regional destination for higher education, offering a distinctive university experience built on applied learning, international partnerships, and strong connections with industry.
