A delegation of Military Science students from the German Jordanian University (GJU) visited the Community Peace Center as part of an educational program aimed at introducing students to the Center’s mission and its national role in strengthening community peace and security. The visit highlighted efforts to raise awareness of intellectual and behavioral risks targeting youth amid rapid digital challenges.

The program included a comprehensive presentation by the Center’s team on the foundations and challenges of community peace, followed by an overview of the Center’s key work areas, including intellectual prevention, risks of online recruitment, and promoting the safe and responsible use of social media platforms. The presentation also emphasized the role of awareness initiatives in protecting society and safeguarding its intellectual security.

Students were also briefed on the Center’s mechanisms for monitoring emerging behavioral indicators, analyzing community trends, and developing national capacities capable of confronting digital and ideological extremism. The discussion underscored the vital role of youth in promoting a culture of peace and strengthening positive citizenship values.

The students expressed their appreciation for the informative content and praised the level of awareness provided during the session. The Community Peace Center emphasized that such visits are part of its community partnership programs and outreach to universities, contributing to fostering a safe and aware environment capable of addressing contemporary intellectual and behavioral challenges.
