The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) inaugurated the university’s first student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), in the presence of GJU President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli.

In his remarks, Prof. Al-Halhouli welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of the chapter in supporting students’ academic and professional growth in accounting and financial management.

Prof. Bassam Al-Ma’ali, Dean of the School of Management and Logistics Sciences, expressed the faculty’s pride in this milestone, emphasizing its role in bridging academic knowledge with professional practice and enhancing students’ opportunities to build strong local and international networks.

The ceremony also featured an introduction by Alaa Al-Noubani, Chapter President, and Yamen Al-Kasasbeh, who presented the founding team, goals, and future vision of the chapter.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session led by the chapter’s academic advisor, Dr. Loay Abu Rajab, giving students the opportunity to learn more about the chapter’s planned activities and professional development prospects.

The event was attended by Ms. Nadine Haddad, Head of the IMA Jordan Chapter, and Mr. Alaa Jarar, Vice President, as well as students from the University of Jordan’s IMA Student Chapter, who shared their experiences in student engagement and professional collaboration.
