The German Jordanian University (GJU) launched the Jordanian Family Library Exhibition 2026 on Sunday at its Al-Mushqar campus, as part of the 20th edition of the Reading for All Festival, held in cooperation with the Madaba Directorate of Culture. The exhibition aims to promote reading and encourage wider access to knowledge, highlighting the role of books in broadening perspectives and raising awareness. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Ibrahem Al-Tarawneh, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Raed Al-Khasawneh, Director of GJU Library, as well as members of the University's academic and administrative staff and students.

Running for five days, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to explore a diverse collection of academic, literary, cultural, artistic, and poetry books and reference materials. It also features specialized publications on heritage, Jordanian and Arab studies, thought, civilization, and Arabic literature, as well as children's stories. This diverse selection allows readers of different age groups to find publications that suit their interests and broaden their knowledge.

The exhibition provides students and members of the community with an opportunity to engage with books and discover publications that enrich their knowledge. It also encourages them to make reading part of their daily lives, while highlighting the role of such initiatives in improving access to knowledge and fostering an appreciation for culture and creativity.

Hosting the exhibition reflects GJU's role in supporting the cultural movement and national initiatives aimed at disseminating knowledge. It also stems from the University's belief that human development extends beyond academic education to include raising awareness, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging openness to diverse fields of knowledge.
