The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and the President of Al-Hussein Technical University, one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, Prof. Ismail Al-Hinti, discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides in areas of common interest.
During the meeting, they discussed possible aspects of cooperation in the scientific and research fields, presenting joint projects that serve the two universities and the entire country, in addition to enabling students and faculty members to use the laboratories and capabilities to implement collaborative activities and events.
For his part, Dr. Al-Halhouli referred to the university's direction to be a pioneering applied international university concerned with scientific research and community service and to be a cultural bridge linking Jordan with Germany, pointing to its endeavor to increase its partnerships with the educational and industrial sectors in Germany and to enhance employment opportunities among its graduates.
In turn, Al-Hinti stressed the importance of cooperation between the two sides, given the multiple opportunities that could be invested to reflect positively on students and, consequently, on Jordanian youth.
At the end of the meeting, Al-Hinti visited the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship, where the Dean, Dr. Nidal Al-Shawawreh, presented the work and roles of DI-TECH especially in spreading the culture of entrepreneurship in the university and society.
