GJU conducts a discussion on The German Accreditation System

Within the German Jordanian Discourse Series, a Transnational Education (TNE) Activity, the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a Talk and Discussion on The German Accreditation System conducted by Prof. Dr. Bettina Prof. Harriehausen-Mühlbauer – the University of Applied Science Darmstadt, an accreditation assessor and deputy spokesperson for ASIIN e.V.'s Expert Committee 04 (Computer Science).

 

Mühlbauer introduced the faculty and administrative staff to several topics such as the role of an accreditation member, institutional accreditation, focused on criteria during an accreditation, audit teams, process, and procedures. A Q&A session followed the presentation.

 

The German Jordanian Discourse Series tries to highlight points of shared interest in the German and Jordanian scientific community. Based on the mission of the German Jordanian University to further enhance the excellent scientific relationship between the two countries, it offers a platform for exchange of ideas and opinions as well as aims at contributing to the development of both systems.
