The Consulting and Training Center (CTC) at German Jordanian University (GJU) successfully concluded a specialized training course titled FAIR Cyber Risk Quantification Training Course, organized in collaboration with OSC4I, with the participation of a number of university students to enhance their practical knowledge and skills in cybersecurity and risk management.

The course introduced participants to the FAIR (Factor Analysis of Information Risk) methodology, one of the globally recognized frameworks specialized in the quantitative analysis of information and cybersecurity risks. Students were introduced to systematic approaches for measuring and analyzing risks, as well as linking assessment outcomes to data-driven decision-making processes, enhancing their ability to address cybersecurity challenges in accordance with international best practices and standards.

The course also focused on the practical aspects of cyber risk quantification by equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to understand the nature of digital risks and assess their impacts. This contributes to strengthening their readiness to meet the requirements of modern work environments that increasingly rely on secure digital solutions.

At the conclusion of the course, participants were honored and awarded certificates of completion in recognition of their commitment and active participation. CTC also expressed its appreciation to OSC4I for its cooperation and valuable contribution to the successful implementation of the training program.

This course is part of GJU's ongoing efforts to provide high-quality training programs that enhance students’ skills, bridge academic knowledge with practical applications, and keep pace with rapid developments in technological fields. It also supports students’ readiness for the job market, particularly in the areas of digital transformation, cybersecurity, and risk management.
