The Consultation and Training Center (CTC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated the graduation of participants from the Data Management Training Program, which was organized in cooperation with DAMA Jordan and supported by the Jordan Valley Authority (JVA). The ceremony was attended by Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of GJU, Dr. Lena Abu-El-Haija, Director of the Consultation and Training Center; Mr. Issam Rahal, Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Jordan Valley Authority; and Dr. Mohammad Al-Omari, Director of the Legal Affairs Department.
Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships with national and professional institutions to deliver high-quality training programs that contribute to capacity building and the qualification of national talents. He noted that data management and analysis have become fundamental pillars for supporting decision-making processes and enhancing institutional performance across various sectors.
For her part, Dr Abu-El-Haija explained that the training program reflects the Center’s commitment to offering specialized practical programs that meet labor market needs and enhance participants’ readiness to keep pace with digital transformation and the requirements of a knowledge-based economy.
The program was delivered in two cohorts. The first cohort was conducted from February 8–12, 2026, comprising 25 training hours, while the second cohort was held from May 2–23, 2026, comprising 24 training hours. The total number of participants in the program reached 89.
The training program highlighted key concepts of data management and its role in supporting decision-making, improving institutional performance, and developing the skills of professionals across various sectors, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified talents capable of meeting the evolving demands of the labor market.
This program reflects the commitment of GJU, represented by CTC, to expanding cooperation with professional partners and national institutions and to delivering specialized training programs that support sustainable development and promote a culture of digital transformation and innovation.
