On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Azmi Mahafzah, patronized the German Jordanian University’s ceremony celebrating the graduation of its 16th cohort, in the presence of senior officials from Jordan and Germany, the Chair and members of the Board of Trustees, parents of graduates, and members of the academic and administrative staff.

The ceremony was filled with pride and joy. In his speech, the University President affirmed that the university continues its steady journey toward excellence and innovation, grounded in a visionary Royal mandate and a strong Jordanian–German partnership that has created an advanced applied academic model considered one of the leading educational experiences in the region.

The University President welcomed the patron of the ceremony, the official German delegation, and distinguished guests, highlighting the university’s esteemed academic reputation and its modern educational system capable of meeting global market demands and supporting digital transformation. He explained that local and international partnerships have enabled the university to establish an educational environment comparable to German universities of applied sciences, preparing an aware, qualified generation equipped with knowledge, skills, and experience to represent the university and the nation competently.

Addressing the graduates, the University President emphasized that this day marks the beginning of a new stage full of opportunities and challenges. He urged them to be the best ambassadors for the university and to spread values, knowledge, and creativity within their communities. He also extended gratitude to parents for their continuous support, and to academic and administrative staff for their dedication and efforts in supporting the educational process.

During the ceremony, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, delivered a speech congratulating the graduates and praising their achievements. Three students also gave speeches in different languages: Shatha Shama in Arabic, Bilal Al-Akkad in English, and Luna Al-Madhoun in German.

The ceremony program included a special video featuring the national football team, embodying national spirit and perseverance, in addition to an introductory video about the university showcasing its history, partnerships, and distinguished programs. A video featuring GJU graduates was also screened, presenting inspiring success stories that reflect the university’s impact in preparing competent individuals capable of competing locally and internationally.
