The German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated the graduation of the Children University, also known as the “Little Professor” program, in the presence of the President of GJU, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-halhouli.
The Children University attracted around 500 school students between the ages of (8-12) from different regions in the Kingdom. It aimed to enhance scientific thinking and creativity in children and introduce them to the method of university learning through their participation in several interactive lectures and was supervised by GJU staff and the German Technical University of Braunschweig.
Dr. Al-Halhouli stressed that GJU would continue to implement the program based on its social responsibility towards the community and its children, indicating that our children are the future who will have the responsibility to contribute to building the nation and its development.
It is worth mentioning that Children University included four interactive lectures; Is Quiet by noise possible? Why do things break and are damaged? How does a computer deal with data? What are light and shadow, and how are they formed? Additionally, GJU organized the fourth summer camp and the sixth scientific camp in line with the Children University activities.
