The Camping and Hiking Club at the German Jordanian University (GJU), through the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), organized an adventure trip to Batumi, Georgia, led by Club President and Adventurer Hossam Kassasbeh and supervised by Eng. Abdullah Al-Bashir.

The adventure brought together 10 participants, including a student of an Arab nationality and a student from Al Hussein Technical University. The trip featured a variety of outdoor activities and adventures, including camping at the Batumi Botanical Garden, hiking in Mtirala National Park, staying overnight in wooden cabins, kayaking, ziplining, swimming in a lake, and driving 4x4 vehicles.

The adventure also provided participants with an opportunity to interact with the local community and learn about new cultures, in addition to learning Georgian dances.

The adventure is part of GJU’s efforts to support extracurricular student activities and provide diverse educational and cultural experiences that contribute to developing students’ skills and fostering a spirit of initiative and teamwork.
