Amman – The German Jordanian University (GJU) has announced the launch of the International Conference on Future Technologies 2026 (ICFT 2026), which will be held on the university’s campus in Amman from October 18 to October 21, 2026, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers, experts, and academics from around the world.
The conference aims to enhance applied scientific research in the fields of future technologies and connect it with real-world applications. This will be achieved through six main tracks, including: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data; Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, and Cybersecurity; Robotics and Autonomous Systems; Financial Technology (FinTech), Blockchain, and Digital Transformation; Health Informatics and Digital Health; in addition to Smart Networks and Smart Energy Systems.
GJU has invited researchers and interested participants to submit their scientific papers through the conference’s electronic submission portal. Paper submissions was started on March 1, 2026, and will continue until May 1, 2026, with acceptance results to be announced on July 15, 2026.
The conference will also include the Graduate Student Consortium, which aims to empower Master’s and PhD students to present their research projects to a select group of academics and industry experts, receive direct scientific guidance, and gain opportunities for networking and international collaboration.
The program will also feature Special Sessions that bring together the academic and industrial sectors to discuss the applications of future technologies in various fields, showcase success stories and practical experiences, and present real research challenges from industry to young researchers.
In the same context, GJU will also host the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Mobility, Renewable Applications and Technology (SMART 2026) during the same period. The conference will be held concurrently with ICFT 2026, making the university an international platform that brings together the latest developments in future technologies, sustainability, energy, and smart mobility.
Organizing the two conferences together will create an international scientific week for technology and sustainability in Jordan, bringing together researchers, academics, industry leaders, and decision-makers to promote international scientific collaboration, exchange knowledge, and support applied innovation that contributes to addressing future challenges.
