The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Alaeddin Al-Halhouli, the Chairman of the Administrative Board of Khalil Rahman Charitable Association, Dr. Muhammad Al-Jabari, and his accompanying delegation discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides in areas of common interest.
Dr. Al-Halhouli introduced GJU to the guests the establishment story, its objectives, and strategic vision to become an applied and innovative international university, leading in education, scientific research, community service, and entrepreneurship, in addition to its aspiration to establish the first smart, green and without emissions campus in Jordan.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Halhouli referred to GJU's role in preparing students for the local, regional and global market through its attention to the technical and applied aspects, besides the dual studies program.
The delegation, consisting of the head of Sanabel Al-Khair Fund, Sheikh Abdul Sattar Hariz, Samer Jaber, and Waleed Al-Sharif, toured the library, the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship, and EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN program, funded by the European Union and managed by GJU, through which 3086 Syrian refugee students, and underprivileged beneficiaries were granted scholarships for different academic degrees.
