The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-halhouli, discussed ways of cooperation and partnership in areas of common interest with the Jordanian-Emirati Businessmen Council during a meeting with the council members in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Al-Halhouli praised the level of Jordanian-Emirati relations thanks to the wise leadership of both countries, pointing to the university's aspiration to network with the council in joint projects, especially after the Cabinet of Jordan approved the GJU Investment Fund for the year 2022.
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Halhouli presented a briefing about the establishment of the university, its programs, and its aspirations to be an applied international university in education, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and community service, as well as a model for strengthening bridges between Jordan and Germany.
Dr. Al-Halhouli added that the university has recently introduced new digital programs in addition to a master's program in pharmaceutical and chemical engineering and a joint doctoral program in German as a foreign language.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Sahel Al-Alawneh and Prof. Dr. Ammar Al-Khalidi, who are members of the university's faculty who work in UAE universities.
