The German Jordanian University (GJU) won second place in the NASA Space Apps competition through the "Visioneers" team, part of the IEEE Student Branch. The team included students Karmel Al-Qawasmi, Layan Darwish, Leen Al-Fityani, and Mohannad Khader, who showcased exceptional technical skills by developing innovative solutions to challenges set by NASA.
The competition, held at Yarmouk University on October 5th and 6th, is a global hackathon that brings together creative minds from around the world to develop technological solutions for space exploration.
The "Visioneers" team advanced to the global judging phase after their outstanding performance. We also congratulate Dana Aboghoush, the university’s ambassador, for her support and coordination during the competition.
