
The Road Safety Center of Excellence at the German Jordanian University (GJU) has been awarded the Best Logo prize for World Traffic Day and Arab Traffic Week 2025. The winning logo, was designed by student Layan Al-Anani under the supervision of Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, director of the center.
This accolade was part of a competition launched by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) aimed at promoting public awareness of road safety and reducing traffic accidents in Jordan. The initiative underscores the PSD’s commitment to enhancing traffic safety through community engagement and educational outreach.
The award ceremony took place during the official ceremony of World Traffic Day and Arab Traffic Week, organized by the PSD at the Royal Cultural Center. The event was held under the patronage of Interior Minister and attended by the PSD Director, along with representatives from various ministries and national institutions.
This recognition highlights the Center of Excellence for Road Safety’s active collaboration with the PSD and the Jordan Traffic Institute. It also reflects their ongoing efforts to promote a culture of traffic safety across the society
