The German Jordanian University (GJU) achieved a new international milestone through its participation in the Model United Nations (MUN) conference held at Georgetown University in Qatar. The university's team was the only representative of Jordan at this prominent international event.
The conference, which lasted for three days, saw the GJU team delivering exceptional results, including three prestigious awards. The students demonstrated outstanding performance in simulating UN proceedings, demonstrating skills in negotiation, drafting solutions, and writing resolutions related to complex international issues. Their participation reflected their high leadership abilities and their commitment to representing Jordan on global platforms, while also displaying their capacity to tackle current international challenges.
The winning team included Hashem Alawneh (Best Delegate), Kamal Al-Namri and Marah Khalil (Honorable Mention). Additionally, Tariq Haddad, Mohamed Feghouri, and Abdulrahman Qasim actively contributed to the discussions, making valuable contributions throughout the conference.
This achievement reflects the ability of GJU students to represent both the university and Jordan on international platforms, highlighting GJU's commitment to developing their leadership and diplomatic skills.
