The German Jordanian University (GJU) and Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.

The agreement was signed by the President of GJU, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and the President of Al Ain University, Prof. Ghaleb El-Refae, in the presence of representatives from both sides.

The MoU aims to enhance academic exchange for faculty members and students, implement joint research projects, organize training courses, workshops, and academic seminars, and develop innovative programs focused on technical education and e-learning. Additionally, the agreement emphasizes innovation and entrepreneurship to achieve mutual benefit.

Prof. Al-Halhouli highlighted that the signing of this agreement reflects GJU's commitment to strengthening its partnerships with regional and international universities, aligning with its vision to provide practical and distinguished education.

Prof. El-Refae stated that this cooperation represents a positive step toward achieving academic excellence and enhancing the quality of education in the region.

The agreement stipulates that joint activities and projects will be implemented under detailed agreements to be negotiated later, in compliance with the laws and regulations of both Jordan and the UAE.
